Position Description
Regardless of whether the Chicken or the Egg comes first, electric cars will not proliferate unless there is a rich infrastructure of charging stations. The EV ecosystem requires a balance of public fast charging, work place and multi-family charging solutions. 350Green is seeking a determined passionate person to lead our efforts in the market. The position requires host site selections, networking with public and private organizations, contractor management and OEM dealer development. The candidate will recruit, negotiate and close charging host site agreements with employers, property management firms, multifamily communities and retail stores to participate in providing EV charging.
This position will be responsible for managing national contract relationships at the local level and will network to make 350Green known throughout the region as the premier provider of EV charging solutions. The candidate is the initial local resource in the market supporting ecosystem development functions in the area including host recruiting, subscriber recruiting, and stakeholder relations.

350Green is a project developer that designs, builds and operates scalable networks of plug-in electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the US. The company distributes its stations by partnering with retail hosts at select, high-traffic shopping centers and other places near where EV drivers live and work, to create an expansive and convenient network of EV charging locations. Current projects totaling several thousand chargers are underway in Chicago, the state of Pennsylvania, New York City, Washington, DC, Denver, Portland, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area with more to come in the following months. Responsibilities:
- Recruit and contract local companies as charging station host for workplaces and Multi-family property owners and developers.
- Provide account management for the region to ensure the charger installation process meets the host expectations.
- Conduct site assessments to contract new host sites
- Inspect with host and approve installed charger deployments
- Lead the execution of public events that generate subscriber and host leads
- Provide input on public charge station locations for the local area
- Identify specific property locations for fast charge deployments
- Provide local negotiation support for agreements with fast charge hosts
- Influence local stakeholders (e.g. city, county, regional entities) on EV issues
- Provide local relationship support for EV OEMs and dealers
- Interact with electric utilities
- Provide local/regional support to regulatory and legislative influence activities
Required Skills:
- Analytical with the skills to synthesize local data into functional recommendations
- Ability to read site plans and learn basic electrical terms and concepts
- Self-directed and goal-oriented with a bias for action
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts through public presentations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Work effectively with local public entities on permitting issues & other issues
- Potential to recruit and grow a local team in line with the market growth
- Ability and passion to communicate the EV vision to various stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with contractors to ensure quality installation standards are realized
Required Experience:
- 2 yrs of experience selling products or preferably services
- Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial service transactions
- Actionable relationships with prospective properties in the local area
- Able to adapt value proposition and messaging to different target audiences
- Exceptional networking and relationship management skills
- Experience in solar, wind or renewable sales solutions a plus
- Experience in B2B sales, corporate and multi-family property owners
- Electric and/or auto industry experience is a plus
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college or university
- Preferred major in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or Sciences
- MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred but not required
